Commercial Foreman

Pay Range: $38-$45 per hour, Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of on-site electrical operations, including coordinating with the assigned Project Manager.
  • Develop, adjust, and adhere to work timelines to meet project schedules.
  • Collaborate with project management, prefabrication, and design teams.
  • Organize and coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations, plans, specifications, and industry codes.
  • Train, mentor, and provide performance feedback to field crew members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Actively participate in pre-construction meetings and post-project reviews.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships within the industry.

Qualifications

  • Required Licenses: Valid Journeyman’s License.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a journeyman, with a proven record in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Leadership and training capabilities, with a focus on fostering teamwork and performance excellence.
  • Proficient in interlock wiring, testing electrical systems, and diagnosing system malfunctions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to utilize project management software.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday.
  • 8-10 hour shifts, with potential for overtime based on project needs.

Work Location

  • Primarily on-site commercial, and industrial projects, based on client needs.
  • Jobsites are typically in the Baltimore and DC areas, but can potentially extend as far North as Delaware.
